Maluma and his Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG, that was worth an arm and a leg. More here in Top Tier Trends on October 6
Maluma never tires of accumulating success in his professional career. The reguetonero from Medellin (Colombia) was guest of honor on The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon. Although he spoke with the host about his triumphs, he wore a look in which his sneakers stood out.
These are the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG, one of several collaborations between Travis Scott and Nike’s most successful franchise that came out in 2019. In other words, we’re talking about one of the most coveted pairs in sneaker history. Likewise, they are one of the models that generated endless lines and shook the foundations of the sneaker industry.
Although Maluma doesn’t show his Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG sneakers, underneath his baggy pant, you can see the inverted Swoosh of the Scott style. However, if you’re a fan of this silhouette, you should have plenty of cash on hand because these are pretty exclusive. I mean, be prepared to pay $3,000 at Farfetch. Would you do it?
For now, stay tuned for more releases in Top Tier Trends on October 6, 2021.
Adidas Humanrace Sichona x Pharell Williams, a splurge of style in red wine color
In August, Pharell Williams and Adidas launched the Adidas Humanrace Sichona in blue to connect us with the summer sky. But in October, the duo is going for fall and winter colors like burgundy in this new style.
It’s a sneaker that keeps its shocks aesthetics and brings all the comfort of Primeknit fabric. That is an ultra-flexible and seamless shoe. In addition, it incorporates the Futurenatural advance with which the feet retain their natural movement without restrictions. In short, comfort is like never before.
Although these shoes do not come with many new aesthetic features, the Humanrace branding on the side and the eye-catching label on the tongue are striking. However, at Top Tier Trends on October 6, these sneakers catch our eye. So stay tuned because they will be in stores on October 9.
Reebok x Jelly Belly, sweet addition to your feet
Reebok and Jelly Belly have teamed up for a collab in which adults and kids alike will pay tribute to these sweet treats. And apparently, the philosophy of this collection that unites two seemingly unconnected worlds is one of guilty pleasure.
On the other hand, you can find the flavors of Jelly Belly in the colors of the sneakers. Also, in the insoles of each model. In other words, each silhouette represents the brand’s, characteristic sweetness. For this reason, they used sustainable organic fabric from sugar cane.
Reebok and Jelly Belly’s collaboration includes four models:
- Reebok’s Instapump Fury
- Club C Legacy
- Classic Leather Legacy
- Club C Revenge.
The Instapump Fury represents the candy company’s most vivid flavors. For example, their uppers and sides feature bright cherry, plum, pink grapefruit, and Berry Blue colors typical of these candies.
The two Club C Legacy models have corresponding inspirations. For instance, the first is about BeanBoozled, a game in which participants spin a wheel and eat the candy that matches the color it falls on. While the second showcases lemon-lime, Island Punch, and cream-soda-jelly bean flavors.
Finally, Classic Leather Legacy brings back the iconic licorice, Tutti-Fruitti, and Jelly Belly gum flavors. As a result, it turns them into eye-catching models that come marked with “CL Legacy Mix” flags on the tongue.
You can get the kids’ line of these sneakers with prices ranging from $50 to $65. Finally, in the adult version, the price range from $90 to $200. At Top Tier Trends on October 6, we think they look like a lot of fun.
‘Siempre en Familia,’ the new Air Jordan to honor the Day of the Dead
We are on the eve of Halloween, and the Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Siempre en Familia’ reminds us of this date and the Day of the Dead. In this way, Nike pays tribute to Mexican culture in one of the most colorful celebrations of this country.
Although the model comes in black, it serves as a proper background canvas. That is, it comes with an animal print to highlight the colors of this silhouette. And, in the upper, it is seen with a striking red on which they superimpose some sharp white teeth. As a result, they give a very aggressive touch to the model. In addition, on the sides, there is an explosion of colors with the swoosh embroidered with traditional motifs.
The Air Wings logo also features motifs in bold reds, blues, yellows, and greens. On the tongue, the Jumpman comes with the slogan ‘Always Family. It is a reminder that family is a priority in this life and the next. Even the popular catrinas appear on the templates.
The official launch date of these sneakers is not yet known. But, it should be very soon because the Day of the Dead is on November 1. We will keep an eye on the price and release date in Top Tier Trends on October 6.
