Nike and Adidas anticipated this year’s festivities with the launch of some models that will catch the attention of fans of these brands. First up, we have the Ultraboost 5.0 sneakers from Adidas. While last year the three stripes brand put a lot of love into the Ultraboost with a subtle design, in 2022, they decided to be more explicit.
Now, these iconic running and streetwear shoes bring, in addition to their usual comfort and excellent cushioning, some unique details for Valentine’s Day. That’s why in their design, we can find a lot of red hearts starring all over the Primeknit. You will also notice them on the heels, contrasting with the deep black of the rest of the sneaker. We still don’t know when they will be released, but you will surely see them a couple of weeks before Valentine’s Day.
Secondly, Nike surprises us with two quite romantic proposals in its peculiar style. These are Air Jordan 1 Mid “Valentine’s Day,” which come in delicate pink tones that fit this date. You’ll notice this both on the base and on the front plates that appear with different shades of pink, very pale. You will also see that this color contrasts harmoniously with a violet hue that takes over the back overlays.

However, a vivid strawberry pink color is on the Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. The midsole, meanwhile, generates a soft upper in its near-white hue that resolves into a pink outsole. Nike’s bet with this model with leather overlays in an intense pink color, almost fuchsia, is that of pure romanticism. Likewise, the mix of materials is also striking and daring.
